Meet Addy Rose. A precious baby girl as sweet as her name. Her mama (and my beautiful friend) Ashley wins the award for creating the cutest nursery wall motif ever. I'm obsessed with the modern geometric print behind the crib and seriously couldn't get enough of it during our shoot. Our super talented friend Hilary (owner at Baby by Design...the most fabulous contemporary baby boutique in the metroplex) is responsible for many of the adorable furniture pieces in this hip little baby's space. Congrats Zucarelli family, you guys did so good!!
Welcome Baby Isla
My beautiful cousin Kristen and I went through our first pregnancies together. We literally had our babies Olive & Rhett within two days of each other! I've always looked up to Kristen growing up and it was such a blast having her as my "pregnancy oracle". Our first two years of motherhood have been much the same as I follow along her path of what's trending in toddler land. She's a fantastic researcher and has fabulous taste so I always trust her opinion!! The Buchanan's welcomed their newest bundle of joy Isla (I know, Olive and Isla, doesn't get any cuter right?!) just last month. I was so honored that she asked me to photograph her precious growing family. Love you guys so much!!
Whitney, Dallas Bridals
Hands down, Whitney is one of the most thoughtful brides I've ever had the pleasure of working with. This sweet girl booked me a year before her wedding and within the past 12 months I feel like we have become more friends than colleagues. Whitney is such a genuine spirit and always goes out of her way to make sure I feel appreciated. She is no doubt my most organized bride and made each of our collaborations effortless and fun. I was honored to photograph her wedding this past weekend, and cannot wait to share the beautiful images soon!! Whitney, I'm so sad you're no longer a Texas girl, but I know we will stay in touch for years to come. You are a true joy and I'm so incredibly thankful we've crossed paths. Thanks for being you.
Bonus!! I LOVED that Whitney brought her mom's vintage wedding dress to her bridal shoot. Check out her precious boho bridals in her mom's dress below, just for fun!
Catherine + Todd, Fort Worth Engagements
April in this city is pure bliss. It brings the most magic light and beautiful weather imaginable. I'm so thankful for the perfect spring evening I spent with Catherine and Todd recently. I may be in the midst of busy season but it's shoots like this that give me such a renewed spirit. Cheers to my new friends, and best wishes to you both!!
Lindsey + Justin, Fort Worth Engagements
I truly cannot wait for Lindsey and Justin's Fort Worth wedding this fall!! Lindsey and I went to college together, and I just love that we've recently reconnected! She is in the midst of starting her own event styling company Blah Blah Blush and I couldn't be more excited for her!! I adore her taste, and even more, I adore her!!
Robinett Twins
I adore this beautiful family so much. Traci and Clay have been some of my sweetest friends and clients since the early days of my business in 2010. I'm so thankful for their support and beyond excited for their adoooooorable family. Traci, you were the most elegant pregnant mama and your precious babies are the stuff dreams are made of. You guys are twice blessed!! Meet baby H & G.
Martha + Paxton
This stunning Fort Worth wedding was such an honor to be a part of. Being new to the area, I feel so blessed to have met and worked with some of Fort Worth's finest families. The Oswalds and the Motherals could not have been more graceful in hosting such a beautiful wedding weekend and I'm so grateful I was able to share. It rained & it poured, but no amount of downfall could dampen such a splendid occasion. Martha and Paxton congrats on your beautiful wedding, you guys are wonderful together.
Thank you Carmen Evans for accompanying me as my second shooter. Your support is always appreciated!!

Kelcey + Bart, Texas Wedding Photography
This charming Brownwood wedding was such a sweet occasion. I'm still reminiscing over the lovely historical home where the bride dressed, seriously so quaint and only in a small town. Kelcey and I were (you guessed it) KKG's together and I'm so excited to share her beautiful wedding day. Best wishes to Kelcey and Bart, we'll see you in Cowtown!
Also, a very big thank you to the sweetest second shooter, Sammie Culpepper you are such a hard worker and a true genuine talent!!

Film?!
This week marks a new chapter in my love affair with photography. Until recently, I never understood while anyone in this modern day would ever want to hassle with the inconvenience of film photography. I was the furthest person from wanting to try it, much lest invest in the archaic equipment in which I would need. After attending the workshop of the fabulous and ever so hip Taylor Lord- I was totally intrigued and wanted in on the lost art. This past weekend my sweet mama unearthed an old film camera that I'd known she had, but never showed any interest in pursuing. Yesterday I took an hour to teach myself how to load the archaic film (yes, an hour), find the shutter button (on the bottom half of the hasselblad, so strange), and fumble around with it's antique manual Zeiss 80mm lens to expose (with an old light meter) what I hope will be a beautiful first film test shot......the craziest part is the responsibility I felt to technically assess each shot's lighting qualities so that I didn't waste any of my precious 16 exposures! Film is not cheap and sending it off to get developed is a process not for the impatient "I need to see it now" photographer. Those close to me know that I don't enjoy waiting around and that I'm always acting on my quick and sometimes irrational impulses.....With that being said, I think this journey in film may be the perfect compliment to slow this busy body down, take a step back, and become a more sound and technical photographer.
Yesterday I styled some inanimate objects around my house and literally got the butterflies when I heard the extremely slow and loud shutter fire once. As a self taught, trigger happy digital photographer, I instinctively looked at the back of the camera to assess my image, ha- old habits will die hard I'm afraid. Guess I'll let you know how I did when I finish the role and send it off to be processed! Until then I plan on doing some heavy reading.
Lindsay + Garrett
This love is real, this love is genuine, and this love has been handcrafted & intricately created for these two amazing people. I am so honored to know Lindsay and Garrett. They are the type of couple you're lucky to meet at least once in your life. Hearing the speeches given at their rehearsal dinner, I was truly awestruck and moved to learn their story and how incredibly intentional the Lord has been in their relationship.
Their wedding fell on the most magical January day you could wish for…warm, golden light, and overflowing love from every corner. These two families are filled with such incredible spirits and it was truly uplifting to document such a perfect union. Lindsay and Garrett, you guys are so right for each other and I cannot wait to see what's in store for your future together. You two will do amazing things. Thank you for allowing me to play a role in your wedding day, it was such an honor.
Kara + Vincent, Hawaii Wedding Photography
Aloha! Sometimes as a photographer, you're lucky to stumble across serendipitous opportunities and pure wedding magic. Kara and I grew up together in Lubbock and I was completely flattered when she asked me to be her photographer. When she mentioned her and Vincent's wedding would take place in Maui, I could't wait to document their special day in such an incredible desitnation. Between this beautiful couple and the Hawaiian paradise, I was in heaven everywhere I turned.
Sarah + Brendon, Dallas Wedding
Sarah and Brendon's big day was one of the most lovely, fall festive, and heartfelt weddings I've had the pleasure of photographing. I've loved getting to know Sarah throughout the past few months and can't help but be in awe of her captivating spirit and genuine heart. Best wishes to you Brendon and Sarah, and cheers to this new chapter in your lives.

Alex + Charlie
I bring to you another beautiful KKG sister and friend. Meet Alex and her sweet man Charlie. These two have been together since college and they are the real deal. Needless to say, between the romantic Hill Country setting and these two love birds, I was certainly inspired. I just love this wholesome shoot from start to finish.
Hill Family Maternity
In honor of sweet baby Holden's arrival today, I thought I'd share this adorable family session full of precious new life and love. Congrats to your beautiful family of four!! Love you guys!
Baby Ainslee
This little angel baby is as sweet as they come. There are few things in life more precious than newborns, so I was of course thrilled to snuggle with baby Ainslee a couple months ago. I've been so focused on weddings this past year, I've not taken time to blog my family & newborn sessions. I hope to catch up in the coming weeks to share the beautiful family sessions I've had the privilege of photographing this past year. Also, check out the adorable custom wall-art that HAD&P designed for behind baby Ainslee's crib.

Maggie + Alan
I first got to experience this fun loving couple during their engagement session last fall. Maggie and Alan have an uncanny love for not only each other, but are deeply in "puppy love" with their dogs as well. Their puppies were part of their engagement, engagement pictures, and even part of their wedding ceremony!! The wedding was filled with pure joy from every angle. The sunny weather took a turn, but Maggie's wonderful wedding team flipped the outdoor ceremony site to be indoors without a hitch. It rained, it poured, but it only added magic to the night as we celebrated Maggie and Alan's happiness.
Liz + Travis, Dallas Wedding
I've been so excited for this particular day since I first met sweet Liz. She careful crafted and planned the most beautiful wedding- and with the amazing talents of Stems of Dallas, Caroline Fair Events & Lindsey Zamora- the day was absolutely flawless. The reception took place at the Room on Main, which is one of my new personal favorites, the space is magical! Not even the rain could put a damper on Liz and Travis' wedding, as it set a perfect backdrop of yummy light and freshness all around. Liz and Travis are exactly the match I love to photograph; fun, totally in love, and down to earth, the perfect combination. Bless you guys and thanks so much for sharing this incredible moment with us.
A very heartfelt thanks to my sweet friend and the most talented wedding stylist I know, Lindsey Zamora. You truly are a creative genius. Any brides who are looking for someone to give a cohesive, unique, and upscale vision to your wedding styling, contact Lindsey. She's also available for "day of styling". Just look at her tool belt below, the girl isn't joking.
Also, thanks to my second shooter and adorable office assistant Vanessa Anderson for her endless enthusiasm for photography, love you friend!
